Reddit in the Classroom:

At the outset of taking this course, I felt that I knew very little about Web 2.0 tools. I chose to learn about Reddit, because it is a website I have seen many times before, but knew nothing about.
This professional development workshop explores various uses for Reddit as a personal resource, a research tool, and a tool for the classroom. To carry out the presentation, I have written lesson plans for the professional development workshop itself, created a handout for participants that includes lesson plans that can be used in the classroom, and created a Prezi to give an overview of Reddit and its pros and cons.
